How 13th month pay is computed
Under PD 851, rank-and-file employees who worked at least a month in the year get 13th month pay by December 24.
13th month = total basic pay earned in the year ÷ 12
Example
₱25,000 a month, all 12 months, no unpaid absences: ₱300,000 ÷ 12 = ₱25,000.
Joined in April (9 months): ₱225,000 ÷ 12 = ₱18,750.
See it in History › 13th month. From November, a card also appears on the Record tab.
Editing months and amounts already received
Kompyut estimates every month of the year from your schedule, including months before you started using the app. Fix any month that's wrong:
- Joined mid-year? Set the months before you started to ₱0.
- Have the real figure? Enter the basic pay from your payslips for that month.
Edited months are marked, and you can reset them to the estimate.
If your company pays part of the 13th month early (some pay half in May or June), enter it under already received. Kompyut shows what's still due.
