Set your leave types in Settings › Leave. Add from common presets or create your own:
Vacation, Sick, Emergency, Birthday
Company-given. Credits vary by employer.
Service Incentive Leave (SIL)
5 days a year by law after 1 year of service, if your company doesn't already give at least that.
Solo Parent Leave
7 days a year (RA 8972, as amended).
Maternity Leave
105 days (RA 11210). Paid mostly through SSS, so it doesn't count toward the 13th month by default.
Paternity Leave
7 days per delivery (RA 8187).
Special Leave for Women
Up to 2 months after gynecological surgery (RA 9710).
VAWC Leave
10 days a year for victims of violence (RA 9262).
SSS sickness benefit
Paid by SSS, not your employer.
For each type you choose whether it's paid, how many days a year, how credits build up, and whether it counts toward the 13th month.
How leave credits build up
All at once
The full year's credits are available from January 1.
Monthly
Credits build up each month: days per year ÷ 12. Choose the day of the month they're credited.
No limit
No yearly allowance. For leave given per event, like maternity or paternity. Kompyut still counts days used.
Monthly credits
5 days a year, credited monthly. By the end of September you've earned 5 × 9 ÷ 12 = 3.75 days.
If your company only counts whole days, tick Only whole days count and it shows 3.
Balances reset every calendar year. Carried-over or converted days are entered as adjustments.
Logging leave
Two ways:
One day: open the day, choose Leave, pick the type.
A range: open the leave tracker from the Record tab and use From and Until. Only your scheduled work days in the range are counted. Rest days and holidays are skipped.
Future dates show as Planned. They're already subtracted from Remaining, so you don't over-plan.
Remaining = credits earned so far + adjustments − used − planned
Adjustments
Use an adjustment when HR changes your balance for a reason Kompyut can't see:
Carry-over from last year (+)
Leave converted to cash (−)
Extra days granted, like a service award (+)
Corrections to match HR's records (+ or −)
Adjustments are dated and belong to the year of their date.
